Barnaby 2026 - 2027

Barnaby is a mixed age class for those with profound learning and physical needs. Many students also have complec medical needs. We provide a structured learning environment which caters for the learning needs of all our pupils, alongside the important physical care programmes including standing frames and other positional needs. 

During this school year, we are following the themes that our Upper Key Stage 2 classes are following. The Whole School theme is Superstars for the Autumn term. 

Our massage to music is all about the Seasons, as we explore the changes it brings alongside appropriate physical touch and express our likes and dislikes. 

Our new sensory story is The Smartest Giant in Town and I've done a recorded video of the story, so you can listen along at home and maybe turn this into a sensory story too with the prompts on each page.
