Children will design and make models using recycled materials, practise cutting and sewing, and later move on to simple ICT tasks such as typing and creating documents.
Community
We’ll be thinking about how to look after our environment, planting seeds around school, learning about Florence Nightingale, and taking part in simple orienteering activities.
Individuality
Through PSHE and My Happy Mind, children will explore feelings, worries, and what makes them unique, as well as learning how to support friends and recognise changes as they grow.
Creativity
In art and music, children will explore rhythm using African instruments and create their own recycled‑material animal sculptures inspired by artist Michelle Reader.
