Jodrell 2025 - 2026

Jodrell Class

This term, our topic is all about being 'Global Warriors'. We will be learning about materials in science and D&T, in art we will be focusing on creating pieces of art using plastic and we will be learning all about how to keep the ocean free from plastic and rubbish!

Our stories this term will be linked to our learning and every two to three weeks we will be introduced to a new book linked to a new topic. We will learn through our senses using a total communication approach and most importantly, we will have fun!

Maths

In maths, our learning for this term is all about geometry and shape. We will learn through songs, games, practical and written activities and as always, we will use a total communication approach.

Swimming: This happens on a Monday morning - please ensure you have a full kit in school on Mondays.

Community Visits: Weather depending, we visit West Park every Friday afternoon.

Educational Visits: This half term, we are going to visit The SeaLife Centre in Manchester.
