Cotton 2026 - 2027
Welcome to our Autumn Term in Cotton Class!
We are very excited to welcome all our friends back for a wonderful term of play, exploration and learning.
Our topic this term is Superstars. Through play, stories and lots of fun activities, we will explore and celebrate what makes each child unique. We will learn about ourselves, our families, our friends and all the wonderful things we can do.
Our days will continue to be rooted in learning through play, with opportunities to build relationships, enjoy sensory exploration, join in with songs and rhymes, be creative and explore early maths concepts. We will also have plenty of opportunities for outdoor fun, alongside weekly swimming, park trips, soft play and PE sessions.
We will enjoy a mix of rhyme, fiction and non‑fiction books to support language, curiosity and engagement. Our stories this term will include:
- Head to Toe
- Measuring Me!
- The Gingerbread Man
To support our learning around seasonal changes and the world around us, we will also read We’re Going on a Leaf Hunt and a lovely non‑fiction book all about Autumn.
We are looking forward to another fun‑filled term of learning together!
