Our topic this term has centred on our learning around different celebrations. This week, to expand upon our learning about celebrating Christmas, we took a trip into Macclesfield Town Centre to see the big Christmas Tree and nativity in the Market Place. We had a lovely walk in the winter sunshine, spotting and talking about all of the Christmas decorations we could see on our way into town until we found the big Christmas tree. Once in town we kept a look out for the colourful elephant statues that were dotted around and used our picture boards to spot which ones we had found.
