A whole school event to raise money for the charity Jeans for Genes.
(Spiritual Development) - We encouraged children to reflect on the lives and experiences of people who have genetic conditions.
(Moral Development) - We promoted an understanding of fairness, equality and helping others.
(Social Development) - Developed teamwork, cooperation and a sense of belonging within the school community by fundraising together as a school.
(Cultural Development) - Supports an inclusive school culture where differences are valued.
As part of our Jeans for Genes Day fundraising, one of our students demonstrated outstanding initiative and community spirit by attending her Girl Guides group to bake and sell cakes, raising money to support the school's fundraising efforts. The upper school students also attended an assembly helping to raise awareness about genetic conditions and the importance of inclusion and supporting others.
