Merlin Class have been exploring Global Recycling Week, using it as a chance to learn more about how everyday choices can help the planet. We watched a child‑friendly video all about the recycling process and then took part in a hands‑on activity where the children sorted different types of rubbish into the correct categories.

This helped them understand what can be recycled, what can’t, and why it matters. They were really engaged and worked brilliantly as a team.
