Welcome and Introduction

Welcome to Park Lane School.

I am very proud to introduce you to Park Lane School. A school that enables the achievement of all pupils. This is a two-way process: the determination, hard work and perseverance of the pupils coupled with the commitment, dedication and high expectations of the staff.

Park Lane School can support pupils in their education journey at whatever point they join us, from nursery to sixth form. We offer a curriculum that meets the age and learning needs of all pupils. Throughout the curriculum is a focus on developing communication and personal development. Communication is supported in many ways-sign language, communication books and using technology through iPad and eye gaze alongside the use of speech to aid understanding and expression. We aim for all our pupils to gain in self-belief and independence so when they leave Park Lane School they will be confident, ready to take the next step in their life, be it a new school, college or learning in the community.

We welcome visits as it gives us the opportunity to show the work of pupils and staff. We are always pleased to meet prospective pupils and their parents. Please ring 01625 801964 to make an appointment, myself or one of the senior leadership team will respond to any queries.
