Designing a prayer mat - Eid el Fitr 2023

We learnt more about Eid el Fitr- learning about how colourful the festival is and how people who celebrate Eid prepare for the festival, as well as what they do when they are celebrating. One such thing is going to the mosque to pray. Our students designed their own prayer mat- using their favourite colours and textures. 

This unit of work allowed us to expand our spiritual and cultural awareness by learning more about other faiths and how we can respect them.
