An educational visit from Sheena King c/o Tesco's- linked to our Harvest Topic - Spiritual, Social and Cultural

Awe & Wonder, Communities, Social Skills, Heritage & Traditions We had a visit from Sheena King, who works at Tesco in Macclesfield. She led a workshop about flour and all of lovely things we can make from flour. We have been learning about the journey of wheat and flour as part of our Harvest Topic. As well as allowing us to explore and taste all of the foods, this opportunity allowed us to pariticpate in an activity with a member of our local community and develop our social skills. All of the students participated really well, taking turns, asking questions and communicating if they liked or disliked each product.
